MIS (management information systems)

Polyflex has reduced costs through an MIS system that captures customer specification, job specifics and controls real time labour and material usage.  The advantage of knowing when a project has exceeded budget “real time” versus at the month end is in itself an advantage.  This is often a core problem of production and the main cause of losing money.  By having accurate, timely information, the company can monitor progress and take corrective action promptly.  In addition, reports can be generated such as production and labour reports for up-to date performance monitoring.  The MIS can be used as a diagnostic control system to track performance thereby relieving managers of constant monitoring.
